National Small Business Week AnnouncedMarch 13, 2012
Each year, National Small Business Week is celebrated with a number of events and activities in Washington, D.C. hosted by SBA and co-sponsored by NSBA and various other organizations. This year’s events will include various educational and networking opportunities, awards ceremonies for small-business leaders from across the country, and the closing gala.
Winners from each state will be recognized along with specific groups such as federal contractors, lenders, entrepreneurial development groups, and the Phoenix Awards which honor small-business owners, volunteers and public officials who have made significant contributions toward disaster recovery.
Among the educational opportunities at this year’s event are sessions on federal contracting, social media, international trade, economic growth and the lasting impact of America’s small businesses. For many years, NSBA has been proud to be a sponsor of National Small Business Week, and looks forward to participating in another outstanding event.
