NSBA Elections Wrap-Up Call TomorrowNovember 6, 2012
On Nov. 8, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. EST, NSBA will hold an issue briefing teleconference for members to discuss the elections and what lies ahead for the 113th Congress. Held just two days following the elections, this teleconference will provide members with the first look at how the new make-up of Congress will impact small-business issues and what to expect in the lame duck Congress.
During the call, members will get a detailed analysis on the elections from NSBA President Todd McCracken. NSBA’s chief lobbyists will then discuss the new make-up of the 113th Congress and what the new priorities are likely to be for key committees with jurisdiction over small-business issues. NSBA Chair Chris Holman will discuss potential NSBA priorities for the coming year as well as provide avenues for members to stay involved and help drive the NSBA agenda.
Wrapping up the call, participants will hear from American City Business Journals Washington Bureau Chief Kent Hoover on the likely politics of the upcoming session of Congress.
