April 25, 2013

pic-green-environmentOn Wednesday, April 24, NSBA’s Environment and Regulatory Affairs Committee hosted a members-only teleconference to discuss climate change and its impact on America’s small business community. Joining NSBA on the call was Joe Kruger, Director of Energy and Environment for the Bipartisan Policy Center and David Rosner, Associate Director for Energy Security for the Bipartisan Policy Center. Both Joe and David are recognized as the premier experts in the energy and environmental policy arena.

Wednesday’s call began with a brief overview of the subject and a discussion on the scientific arguments underpinning climate change, and then went on to address potential impacts on the small business community across the country and the current landscape on Capitol Hill and within the federal agencies. NSBA would like to again thank Joe and David for taking the time to speak with our members and for the truly informative discussion on how changes to our policies and our environment can and will affect small business.
