SBA’s Karen Mills Names Interim ReplacementSeptember 11, 2013
On Tuesday, Aug. 20, outgoing U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Administrator Karen Mills announced that her interim replacement would be Jeanne Hulit, current SBA Associate Administrator of the Office of Capital Access. In February of this year, Mills announced that she was stepping down and leaving the SBA for positions at Harvard University’s Business School and Kennedy School of Government.
Prior to starting with SBA, Hulit served as a senior vice president for commercial lending at Citizens Bank, a middle market lender for KeyBank, N.A. (also managing KeyBank’s International Banking Division), and as the deputy director for the International Division at the Maine Department of Economic and Community development.
