Small Businesses Needed for Research on E-VerifyAugust 14, 2013
NSBA has been contacted by Westat (www.westat.com), a social science research company, that is seeking volunteers for online focus group(s) it is conducting for the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to discuss the E-Verify program. NSBA has been an outspoken critic of the existing program and has worked with Westat in the past on critical immigration-related policy research.
Westat is looking for companies that are NOT currently enrolled in E-Verify. The purpose of the focus groups is to learn how USCIS can improve the effectiveness of their communication and outreach activities to smaller firms.
The focus group(s) will be held in September or October and will last approximately 60-75 minutes.
All information provided by participants will only be shared with Westat staff working on the study. Names of participants and companies will be kept private. Participants will receive $50 for their time.
If you are not currently enrolled in E-Verify and are interested in participating in the focus group, please contact Westat at 1-888-451-5732 or email email@example.com with your contact information.
