Six-Month Continuing Resolution Likely to Pass This Week

The U.S. House of Representatives is likely to vote this week, with the Senate expected to follow suit shortly thereafter, on a Continuing Resolution to extend current funding levels through March 27, 2012 in order to avoid a government shutdown at the end of the fiscal year, Sept. 30.
