Yesterday, the House passed a stopgap spending bill that keeps the government funded through March 23, the bill now moves to the Senate where lawmakers have until Feb. 8 to avoid a government shutdown.
The government shutdown ended Monday night, yet lawmakers have just three weeks to the next spending bill deadline.
