Bicameral Budget Conferees Hold First Meeting
October 30, 2013 12:11 pmToday, the bicameral budget conference committee met for the first time for mostly procedural purposes and to determine their schedule for the coming six weeks--the timeframe they were given to forge a compromise on the FY 2014 budget resolution--and staked out their own respective side's tax and spending policies.
