House leadership has scheduled a vote on the Senate-passed bipartisan infrastructure bill for Sept. 30, separating and bumping the reconciliation package vote.

On August 10, the Senate passed the $1.2 trillion bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and immediately moved to a debate on the $3.5 trillion partisan budget resolution.
The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act was released late Sunday night. The bipartisan agreement will include $550 billion in new spending on roads, bridges, highways, and broadband and water infrastructure.
As the work on the infrastructure package continues, July and August should bring some clarity on the infrastructure deals.
The latest infrastructure proposal includes a $100 billion pay-for by closing the tax gap through increased IRS enforcement, which could be a problem for small businesses.
There may be potential for a bipartisan infrastructure bill as talks between the White House and Republican leadership continue, although disagreements over funding could still halt a deal.
