On Tuesday, the Small Business Subcommittee on Agriculture, Energy and Trade, led by presiding Chairman Richard Hanna (R-N.Y.) held a hearing on small business trade and how international agreements impact small firms.
Efforts to grow U.S.-EU trade for small- and medium-sized businesses continue with a recent meeting in Brussels of officials from the U.S. and EU as well as a speech from Ambassador Michael Froman, the U.S. trade Representative, on the importance of U.S.-EU trade relations.
Earlier this week, NSBA/SBEA staff participated in a meeting of the Industry Trade Advisory Committee on Small and Minority Business, where the need for improved and eased exporting through trade partnerships was discussed.
